Information for new students

Welcome to Cphbusiness!

Important information for new international students starting at Cphbusiness

We want to inform you about an unfortunate recent development and important announcement made by the Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science.

The Danish government has decided to close almost 4000 international study places across Denmark, mostly at the Business Academies and University Colleges. Regretfully this means that Cphbusiness must close down the majority of our international programmes from August 2022.

International students who have applied for admission to an English taught AP degree programme starting in August 2021, please be aware that you will still be able to complete the study programme you are admitted to. Current students enrolled at Cphusiness will also be allowed to complete their international study programme.

However, as a consequence of the political decision, you will not be able to follow up and apply for an English taught Top-up degree programme at Cphbusiness once you have completed the AP degree you have applied for at Cphbusiness.

While this will have an impact on the international study environment at Cphbusiness, we can assure you that we will do our best to maintain the best possible study environment for international as well as Danish students involved in our international programmes.

Background information from the Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science

Dear new student,

Have you been offered a study place at Cphbusiness? If so, we congratulate you and look forward to seeing you soon.

The first thing you should do is to confirm your study place here. This way we will be able to put you in a class and make sure that you get a great start at Cphbusiness.

About three weeks before study start, you will receive a welcome letter via ApplicantNet with an invitation to a welcome flow in Moodle, the IT platform you are going to use all way through your study programme. Here we have hand picked the information that you will need, before you start your programme. As an example there's information about where you have to show up the first day, who is in your class, who your teachers will be and what is going to happen during your intro week, etc.

The information will only be published in Moodle, so take a look at it there.

The link to your welcome flow and your log in information will be sent to you in the welcome letter mentioned above in the Applicantnet - the same place as you received the offer for your study place.

We are ready to help you

If you have any problems logging in to your welcome flow or if you have not received the link and log in information by email, please do not hesitate to contact us. You can also contact us if you have questions regarding your study programme or study start. You can contact us at:
