Minister visiting
On Monday the 5th of December the minister for education visited Copenhagen Business Academy to have a look at the new business academy sector. It was a couple interesting hours
with a presentation of the academy, a roundtable discussion and a tour of the Open Learning Center at Julius Thomsens Plads where Morten Østergaard met students, entrepreneurs and business partners from abroad.
In the roundtable discussion there where also employee and student representatives from the academy's board and chairmen from the educational committees in the mercantile areas. The minister was pleased to learn about the academy's close cooperation with the private sector and the on-going dialogue with companies through internships, main projects and other relations.
Furthermore there was a lot of focus on the academy's work for innovation and entrepreneurship, where the economic basis for developing incubation communities was discussed along with the international dimension in the academy's programmes.
Finally the minister promised to both look into the barriers that can occur between the academy's programmes and the university programmes, when our graduates want to continue their studies, and the possibility of streamlining the many educational terms.
