Cphbusiness for the future

Dear Alumni,

Summer has arrived and the summer holiday awaits. Many of you are graduating from Cphbusiness these days - congratulations on your exams! And others among you are already well into your careers or continuing studies – also congratulations to you.

In October last year, we gathered almost 2.000 students, companies and employees in Forum for Cphbusiness Future Summit 2016. It was an exciting day, where we listened, saw, and played our way into the future together with some of the world’s futurists from Singularity University.

It was also a day that brought Cphbusiness into a new league, when it comes to education and the future. Because we at Cphbusiness have the ambition that our degree programmes should not just follow the future, but help shape it. A future in which disruption, robots, and exponential growth are part of our daily lives and many of the jobs our students can expect to take on.

The job market you are – or soon will become – part of will greatly change in the coming years. Jobs will change, new jobs will emerge, other jobs will disappear. You will have a say in this development and you will make a difference, and you will help shape a job market, which no one today can imagine.

Look forward to this task, because, if any, you are equipped to be challenged, to find opportunities, to learn, and you have the courage required to take the lead in an ever changing world.

At the same time, you are Cphbusiness’ eyes and ears when changes occur, and can tell us what is required of degree programmes and future graduates.

That way, we can work towards a future Cphbusiness and honour our ambition that future is something we create together!
