Q: Where can I find passwords for databases?
A: Passwords can be found at the libraries room on Moodle, where we have a website with internal information.
Q: How do I login on Moodle?
A: You have to use the username and password you has been given by our school, to the school network. If you do not have one, you can get it at the reception from our secretaries - or ask our IT department for help.
Q: How can I access databases from home?
A: See Databases A-Z, there are written details on how to access each of them. It can be by remote desktop connection, Wayf or through passwords, which you can find on Moodle.
Q: Where can I find the main reports?
A: You can search for them at the libraries' catalogs or by finding them at Moodle. We have the main reports both in paper- and digital version (at Moodle). The latest have degree of 10 or 12. They are divided into “department”, “year” and “education” etc.
Q: Where can I find directions how to use remote desktop connection?
A: The IT department’s has produced a tecnical guide. You can find it here.
Q: Where can I get help if remote desktop connection does not work?
A: You can contact the IT department by mail firstname.lastname@example.org or phone: (+45) 36 15 45 20.
Q: How does Wayf work?
A: You have to use the same username and password that you use at the school network. Sometimes you must choose our school, before they ask you for your identity.
Q: Where can I find the libraries?
A: Library City is located in room 405, 4th floor at Landemærket 11.
A: Library Lyngby is located in room 12.2, 2nd floor at Nørgaardsvej 30.
Q: Where can I find my book lists?
A: The lists are available at the Polytechnic Bookstore or at Moodle.
Q: How long can you borrow books, magazines, cameras and main reports?
A: You can borrow books and magazines one month, the main reports 1 week and AV materials (only at Lyngby) for 3 days.
Q: Are there libraries in Nansensgade and Blågårdsgade?
A: No, but students can use the library at Landemaerket or at Lyngby.
Q: Is it possible to sit and work at the libraries?
A: Yes it is possible, and there are Open Learning facilities outside both the libraries.
Q: Can I book a librarian to help with my cases or with main report?
