From study to career was a great success
Tuesday 28 February Cphbusiness Alumni opened the doors for more than 85 participants at the event From study to career.

More than 85 Cphbusiness graduates and students participated in the event From study to career that focused on helping the participants from study to career.
Among other things the programme offered good advice from graduates, LinkedIn and network presentations.
At the event participants could get their resumes checked, they could have their portrait taken by a professional photographer, and they could visit the company stands.
High demand on resume checks
At the event participants could book a resume check with resume experts. There were a limited number of resume checks, and they were booked by first come, first served. All resume checks were filled up even before the event started at 4 PM.
“This shows that there is a very high demand on getting individual feedback for one’s resume. We will definitely increase the number of resume checks at the next From study to career event in August. We will also start working on a more specific resume event where resume checks are a part of the event”, says Charlotte Dalgaard Petersen, project manager at Cphbusiness Alumni.
The companies
At the event the participants could visit different company stands e.g. Lidl participated with a stand because they specifically was searching for qualified candidates for their management positions.
Novorésumé, who offers a resume template for free, also participated with a stand and a presentation.
Graduateland, who facilitates Cphbusiness’ new job portal Cphbusiness Career, participated as well. They helped the participants finding relevant position to apply for.
Cphbusiness also had a guide stand for the event in which the participants could hear about the opportunities for further education.
Besides that, you could meet HK Privat and Jobindex at theirs stands.
HK was the sponsor of the event. They sponsored speakers for the LinkedIn and the network presentation, and resume experts for the resume checks.
The participants’ experiences
After the event the participants have evaluated the event, which show some great results e.g. the overall satisfaction shows that 91% have scored the event as “Completely satisfied” (20%), “Very satisfied” (40%) or “Satisfied” (31%).
Many participants have also given good and constructive feedback. “It is very valuable to get constructive feedback from the members of the alumni network. We are still a new network and we strive towards offering relevant events, which we can when we know what it is our members want”, says Charlotte Dalgaard Petersen, project manager at Cphbusiness Alumni.
