Annual general meeting

The annual general meeting (AGM) is the highest authority, where important subjects like accounts and budgets, election of board members and the report about the year's activities are processed.

The AGM is held in the fall semester before the 1st of December.

The right to speak and vote

All students at Cphbusiness are encouraged to participate at the AGM, since it is an unique opportunity to get influence and make a difference for one's student life. All students have the right to speak, stand as a candidate and vote at the AGM. At the AGM the majority makes all decisions.

The board of the student organisation

The board of the student organisation is elected at the AGM and all students at Cphbusiness can stand as a candidate for the seats in the board.

If you wish to stand as a candidate for a seat at the board, you must hand in your application to the chairman of the board no later than 7 days before the AGM.

The agenda

The agenda at the AGM must include at least the following points:

1. Election of moderator
2. Election of referent
3. The boards' report
4. Financial reporting, including auditors' observations of the accounts and approval of financial statements
5. Budget
6. Topics
7. Election of board members and alternates (1st, 2nd, and 3rd alternate)
8. Election/appointment of auditor(s). If a state authorised accounting firm is not chosen as auditor of the organisation, two auditors shall be elected.

What do you want on the agenda?

All students at Cphbusiness can add points to the agenda. If you have important topics that you want to be discussed at the AGM, then send them to the board no later than 7 days before the AGM.

Extraordinary general meeting

An extraordinary general meeting can be held at the request of 1/3 of the board or 20 students at Cphbusiness.
Agenda for the extraordinary general meeting shall include at least the following points:

1. Election of moderator
2. Election of referent
3. Discussions of sent proposals
4. Optional
