Information about the intro weeks

The semester starts Tuesday 29 August 2017 at 8:30 a.m. on Nørgaardsvej 30, Lyngby, room 3.01 on the third floor. First thing on the agenda is to introduce you to the program for the first week – the intro week.

During the intro week you can expect activities every day. You will get an excellent opportunity to meet your fellow students on Sport Management (including your Danish counterparts) and learn more about the school and the Sport Management programme. The intro week is a combination of practical, professional and social activities that ensure that all students know what it means to be bachelor students at Cphbusiness Lyngby; preparing you for the upcoming challenges.

You will get an insight into the unique learning process, the many activities throughout the year and our expectations of you. We will also have time to get out of the comfort zone and get to know each other. It will be a formal and informal, individual and group-based experience and by the end of the week you will be curious and ready for your new study.

It is important that you bring your computer for the activities on Wednesday the 30th. For the remaining days, the computer is not necessary, but it will be important to be dressed comfortably/practically including sensible footwear. Bring sportswear on the first day.

From your second week we will be dividing up the classes as follows: Danish class (8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.) and International class (12:30 p.m.- 4:00 p.m.). With the exception of Monday the 4th of September, where we will be going on an outside visit all together to Lyngby BK.

NB: Keep the weekend of the 9th and 10th open! You will be conducting your first big data collection during the game. Data you will use for your first project.

Practical information

During the intro weeks you will visit one of our photo booths and have your picture taken for a student card.
